Seared Ahi Sandwich
This dinner was so awesome I had to share. I used Oasis low carb bread that I got at sprouts for this sandwich. I also purchased the ahi at sprouts. I bought a little under a pound and a half of ahi for 3 people.
You will need:
Ahi
Sesame Seeds
Sesame Oil
Oasis Low Carb Bread
Ponzu Sauce
Directions:
Heat a pan (I used a cast iron skillet) for about 10 minutes
Rinse Ahi and slice pieces horizontally in half.
Put a small amount of toasted sesame oil in the pan.
Dip ahi in sesame seeds.
Put Ahi in pan and cook for about 1-2 minutes each side. Do not exceed.
Pour 1 Tbsp of Ponzu sauce on Ahi.
Put Ahi on toasted bread!
Put whatever else you want on your sandwich. I put some grilled onions, arugula, micro greens, avocado, and everything but the bagel seasoning on my sandwich.
